Follow these directions carefully for optimal benefits from Beechams Flu Plus Caplets:

For adults aged 16 years and over, as well as the elderly:
Take two caplets every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Do not exceed 8 caplets (4 doses) within any 24-hour period.
Not suitable for children under 16 years of age.
Refrain from taking more frequently than every 4 hours.
Adhere to the recommended dose.
Always use the lowest effective dose to alleviate symptoms.
Consult your doctor before exceeding 7 days of use.
Limit consumption of caffeine from drinks like coffee and tea to avoid potential side effects such as difficulty sleeping, shaking, and chest discomfort.

Beechams Flu Plus Caplets contain the following active ingredients per tablet:

Paracetamol (500mg): An analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer)
Caffeine (25mg): A mild stimulant that helps combat tiredness and fatigue.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride (5mg): A decongestant that relieves nasal and sinus congestion.

Other ingredients:

Beechams Flu-Plus Caplets can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. If you experience any of the following, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor or a healthcare professional immediately:

Severe allergic reactions, including skin rash, itching, swelling of the mouth or face, or shortness of breath. Very rare cases of serious skin reactions have been reported.
Skin rash, peeling, or mouth ulcers.
Breathing problems, especially if you have encountered them before with other painkillers like ibuprofen or aspirin.
Unexplained bruising or bleeding.
Reoccurring fevers or infections.
Nausea, sudden weight loss, loss of appetite, and yellowing of the eyes and skin.
Visual disturbances (rare, more likely in those with glaucoma).
Unusually fast pulse rate or a sensation of an unusually fast or irregular heartbeat.
Difficulty passing water, more likely to occur in men with an enlarged prostate gland.

These reactions are rare.
